This Steel Player Really Appreciates His Band

Post by Nick Reed »

I never seem to brag enough about the boys in my Band (Country Junction). Let me say they're the best. . .a great bunch to work with. They all give me 100% and it's always a pleasure to work with these guys. Nick

DANG NICK, IF I DIDN'T KNOW THAT MY AXE WAS SETTING IN THE MUSIC ROOM, I'D THINK MY OUTFIT HAD BEEN STOLEN. US EMMONS FOLKS JUST CAN'T HELP BUT PUT THAT WHITE V ON THE STOOLS.WE'LL TRY TO GET DOWN TO SEE YOU FELLOWS SOME NIGHT IF YOUR STILL PLAYING AT GUTHRIE. IT'S REALLY NOT THAT FAR FROM E-TOWN, IF YOUR PROMISE TO KEEP IT COUNTRY.

Gotta say the same thing about the guys I play with in Blue Moon Highway. No egos, no delusions of grandeur...just some decent guys that love to play for the fun of playing. I'm a newbie steel player, but I play drums and sing in this band that I started it in late 2003. When he's available, Doug Jones plays with us...no finer fellow around. First class all the way. A great player and an even better friend. Sure is cool to have fun playing music, ain't it? Image
