A friend of mine gave me a tape copied off
his album of some of the best western swing
music and steel playing in the world.
He has passed on now. I had forgotten about
it,and got it out the other day and I can.t
believe the great steel playing. I don.t
know who this band is. He gave it to me
some twenty five yrs. ago. Do any of you
have this album. Some of the numbers are
Steel Guitar Jubilee,O lonesome me,
I can't go on this way, smooth kind of love,
does your conscience ever bother you.
one of these days you'll be sorry a vocal
aand an instrumental version, I would like
to know who the steel player is. a lot of
the playing sounds A6th.

Tommy Morrell album called "HOW THE WEST WAS SWUNG'. Smiley Roberts helped me find it a week or so ago. Leon Rausch sings 'MISERY' and 'I DIDN'T REALIZE' it's a great album! |
