Basil Rathbone's last film (poor bast..., er, fellow) Perfect fodder for Mystery Science Theatre and Generally a waste of color filmstock, 'cept for the end where there is a short "Jamboree" with Merle Hagard, and several other acts, seemingly playing 'live'... Steeler is Ralph Mooney on a sunburst Fender... bass drums and guitar (fellow playin' what appears to be a Mosrite) are unknown to me, and I would like help identifying the players.
anyone familiar with this piece of cr..., er, work???

Dave: I don't know if you are aware of this or not, but Merle used to work in Wynn Stewart's band in Vegas with Ralph Mooney. Mooney did a lot of Merle's early tunes.
And as Kelly (from Married with children) would say: HEY !!! Don't be knocking my favorite show on TV. MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATRE ROCKS !

I wasn't referring to this particular movie, Just most of the one's on Mystery Science Theatre. I haven't seen this movie, but if it's as bad as you guys say, It must be GREAT
I still think the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes deserved an oscar for the most asinine, poorly acted movie in history, JMO The producers should have paid the customers to watch this one. Jim Bob- I was aware of that and that's partially why my assumption the steeler in this film was Moon...which "The Pixie" has corrected me about.
Still wondering 'bout the guy with the Mosrite though... |

Generally regarded in film circles as the worst movie ever made is the famous Ed Wood classic Plan Nine From Outer Space.
However, among collectors of such crap, there's a little known 50's film entitled They Saved Hitler's Brain. It's found in vintage/collectors video rental places. Go to one of these establishments, ask if they have the video, look at the cover, then hand it back without wasting your time and money watching it... unless, of course, you're a glutton for punishment.
