Just received this in my mailbox, absolutly refreshingly honest after all those other fraud attempts:

My guess is that it's somebody feigning the name "Dave E" who is supposedly in the 9th grade.
The Forum is set up such that email harvesters can't get your email ID, unless you specifically type it into a post. The "email" link at the top of any posts you make does not contain your email ID.... the Forum software dynamically creates a page that has a link to your email, but only when clicked.
At least, that's how I understand it. |

Actually, that is the handle of a steeler and, I believe, a forum member. Not to imply that he is in any way involved. But it's either a coincidence or his handle has been spoofed. |

Walter, or anybody else receiving that 419 scam, if you still have that email I would appreciate it if you would Forward it to me, as an attachment, or else copy and paste the envelope headers in an email to me. My link is above.
