Hi everyone.
After installing Media Player 10, all files I open have to be downloaded and saved to my computer instead of just buffering and playing them. I usually just want to listen to them or view them once and so I have to delete them after viewing.
Is there a way to go back to just opening and viewing/listening without saving?
thanks in advance

Have you checked the buffering setting??? With Media Player loaded, click Tools/Options and then the Performance tab. Near the middle of that page, you can specify how many seconds of content to download/buffer before starting to play. On my dial-up connection, 10 to 15 seconds is fine. --Everett |

I have DSL here and so the buffering is not really it. Thanks though.
It used to just open and play songs and video without saving them to my computer. now it wants to keep them somewhere before playing them.
Any other ideas?
thanks

That option might be in your browser instead of WMP.
