Like I tell them here at work, if it's a no-brainer then I'm your guy. This "stitching" makes a lot of sense. I'm sure that even folks with film cameras and scanners can do nicely with it.

I'm shocked that a steel player would buy more camera than he "needs".

I'm probably guilty of the same but I really wanted a compact, 3MP, with at least 3x optical zoom.

From the reviews I've read on the Pantax Optio S, I should practice the manual focus. They say it greatly improves focus in lower light conditions.
