Does the Steel King have tubes or is it a solid state amp that gives a tube amp sound?

The Steel King is in a class by itself! I play an Emmons D10 P/P and this amp gives me the full spectrum sound I've been looking for. I have a Peavey DPC 1000 Amp that I use to drive two 15" Black Widow speakers and an Evans FET 500 lv. I do use a Peavey Profex 2
for certain effects, but the Steel King's reverb is more than adequate. This amp is by far my first choice in every respect.

Lately I've used only the Steel King and my Profex.

My wife surprised me with a Steel King for Christmas 2004 which made me very happy. I really like the sound I get with my old LDG, Pro-FexII, and Steel King.

Thanks guys. I would like to test drive one. So I don't want to deal with shipping issues.
