The correct spelling is "Centaur." I managed to find this site: http://www.centauramp.com/
Someone has one of these amps on ebay as a steel amp and I wasn't familiar with them. They seem to be made like the ampeg amps.

It looks like a nice amp -- very compact and sturdy. If it has a fifteen inch speaker and lots of power, you could probably get a nice sound ot of it. When I'm touring, it's often hard to find a "steel guitar amp" (and some of those can sound awful), so I've used all sorts of keyboard and bass amps with 15" speakers, and they've usually worked great.
