Is anyone using either of these Peavey effects units. If so, which one do you perfer and why. I am thinking of purchasing one, but don't have much knowledge about the pro's and con's of either. As I understand, the Deltafex is the current version of the Profex series.
Thanks for any input!
Deltafex or DeltaStomp

The Deltafex is not a replacement for a Profex II. The Deltafex is about all Peavey is still making right now. It is strictly a one effect at a time unit, not a preamp/EQ like the Profex II and it's all Knobs - no programming. It has reverbs, delays, chorus, leslie simulator, etc but like I said only one of the effects at a time. I had a rack model that I used years ago for chorus, and it worked well.
One other (bad) feature. It doesn't have a bypass option. It has a remote footswitch jack but it cuts the output off instead of bypassing. You would have to physically unplug cables to bypass the unit or build a bypass switchbox (what I did).
