I heard the Malpass Brothers in NC sing a song called that went something like this:

I'll be waiting on the farside banks of Jordan,
I'll be waiting drawing pictures in the sand.
And when I see you coming I will rise up with a shout,
And come running through the shallow waters reaching for your hand.

These words are just approximate. I tried to get them off of a video tape but there was too much audience noise and I just couldn't make it out. Does anyone know who's song this was/is and if there's a recording available of it......JH in Va.

"The Far Side Banks of Jordan" is on a Cox Family CD that they did with Alison Krauss. The CD is called "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow."
