Diamonds and Rust goes:-
Em, C, G, D
through the verse,
the Middle Eight goes
Bm Am C G Fmaj7 G B7.
The timing of the lyric is tricky on the very last line of the song- there's an extra phrase.

Hey Gary, an old band I was in used to do Long Long Time and we used these changes. I'll post 'em in numbers as I don't know what key you'll be in....JH in Va.

Long Long Time

1 . 5 . 6m . . .
4 . 5 . 1 . . .
1 . 3 . 6m . . .
2 . . . 5 . . .

4 . . . 1 . . .
3 . . . 6m . 4 .
6m . . . 4 . . .
1 . 5 . 1 . . .

Try this and see if it works for you. If you don't know the number syster in the key of C: 1=C 2=D 3=E 4=F 5=G 6=A 7=B etc...
[This message was edited by Jerry Hayes on 04 May 2005 at 04:15 AM.]

Hi Dave and Jerry;
Thanks you so much.
Jerry; the singer will be doing Long, Long Time in D so your chords will be easy to
transpose. Neat number system.
Is this a great site or what?
