Found this on the "Country Standard Time" website:

Songwriter Larry Kingston, 63, of passed away Feb. 20 in Nashville. He suffered a heart attack on Jan. 17 and died of complications resulting from continual battles with infections.
Born Aug. 10, 1941 in Lafayette, Ind. he was the oldest of three sons of Ruth and Marion Kingston from Paragould, Ark. With his family, he moved to Nashville in 1965 to pursue his songwriting career.
He wrote many top 40 hits for Nashville's top artists, such as George Jones, Johnny Paycheck, Roy Clark, Porter Wagoner, Reba McEntire, Vern Gosdin, Don Williams, Mark Chesnutt, Jerry Lee Lewis and Ringo Starr. Songs included "Thank God and Greyhound", "Pittsburgh Stealers" and "It's Not Over If I'm Not Over You."

Not mentioned is the fact, that the artist recording the most Larry Kingston songs is Johnny Bush....

More sad news!

Larry was a great songwriter, he wrote a lot of the early Paycheck material like "The Lovin' Machine" and "Hang On Sally"...

My condolences to his family!

Kind Regards, Walter
