Do the 6 stringers use the same amp?

From what I understand, the steel guitar players on the Opry must plug into whatever the staff steel player uses or has available. I was wondering if the lead guitar players, the 6 string pickers, have to plug into the same amp dictated by the staff lead guitar player? I was watching the Opry tonight and this came to mind.

The staff steel player Tommy White uses an "Opry Box" it has a few WEBB heads in it and it connects to a single floor speaker.

If Tommy has his sound 'dialed in' then the other steel players would naturally use the OTHER heads in the rig.

I am not sure that the lead players do this. I have never heard of it. When I was on stage last ..I didn't pay attention to what was going on behind me.
