I was enjoying some of my Hank Willams collection, when "Long Gone Daddy" played.I have heard the song many many times. But today I listened more intently I quess. Don Helms plays some very soulful steel on this cut.In fact for that time period, what he played was very much ahead of It's time. JMHO
