Tom Morgan?
I'm wondering if anyone has any info or address for Tom Morgan, Banjo and mandolin builder from Morgan Springs,(if my memory serves) Tennessee. Tom was a great friend to me 25 years ago, and answered a zillion questions about mandolin construction. Can't find my box of letters- anybody have an address, email, or other info? I'd like to thank the man!- Steve

I don't have his address or phone # but a friend does. Try this...........
DownhomeP@aol.com
Tom is still performing, although his wife and musical partner passed away a few years ago. In fact, there was a story in the Chatt. paper this past week about an upcoming date at the Smithsonian.(sp?) He also helped start the Curly Fox Museum in south Rhea County. I believe he still lives in Morgan Springs, which is near Dayton Tn. in Rhea County.
Hope this helps....if that e-mail add. doesn't respond (he's been sick) I'll try something else.
