Wow! I'm so impressed by his voice! He can sing a song "Rebecca Lynn"!

Too high. Can't do karaoke. Well, if I pitch-shift it down a bunch (but then it sounds horrible)

I have that first album (tape). From what i've read he's a Glenn Cambell and Steve Wariner protege. His music is similar to both those artists.

I have bought one of Brians tape, I guess it was for one song that I liked.
But even that one I have forgotten since I amediately gave it away.
He has a good voice for a pop singer, but then I'm a country music fan.
People ask will the steelguitar die?
No, it's moveing right alone on the Pop bubblegum and Country Rock scence.
I think I'll go liston to some Dale Watson .
AW ,now that's some real country.

I agree with Theresa. I have always liked his singing plus he has a great steel player, Randle Currie.

Yeah, Mike. I was going to mention that. I had the pleasure of meeting Randle in Middletown, OH -- down the road from your mama's -- a couple weeks ago.

He's a great player and a most pleasant man to visit with. We were talking about what it takes to be successful in the music business. One comment he offered was, "It helps to be a nice guy. People don't want to work with a ...". He's for certain a nice guy -- the kind of guy I always want to see succeed.

So how do you explain the success of Marvin Hammlisch, Ray Charles, and Buddy Rich?
