SELL Sierra Gold Anodised SCM12 Universal

Post by Steven Doughton »

You only go around once and you’re not likely to see another steel like this one at any price. If you could still get Sierra to do gold anoding it would be over $5000.00. I’m the original owner and have lovingly cared for this steel every day of its life. Looks like new and is just out of the Sierra factory (I live just down the road from Sierra) where it was returned for tuning and adjustment prior to sale and to be verified good as new in writing by Tom Baker of Sierra who built it. He’d be happy to say so too. Couldn’t get a photo in here so email for pictures if you’re interested.

I can just picture this, as I've seen David Wright's. These are beautiful guitars that sound and play great. Mrs. Lee tells me "You don't need another steel guitar" and she's right (as usual), but if I were in the market for a U-12 I'd buy this one. They don't get any better in my opinion.

I went to see and play Steve's Sierra yesterday and it looks beautiful and plays as sweet as can be. It has obviously been cared for cause it looks like brand new. I can't believe I did not buy it on the spot; may be kicking myself for not doing it...Alan
