CrowBear,
You have to be careful! All the tabs you get from me have liberal doses of the Holy Spirit applied to them. If you keep playing them you will be a changed man forever!
Bless you, Brother!
Erv
Ed,
Did you play my version of "I'll Fly Away"?
I also have "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" tabbed out that I may offer sometime in the future.
Glad you like the ticket! We have to have a ticket if we're going to "Fly Away", right?
Erv
CrowBear, my day gets better as it goes along!

Just a short thank you note to all those who have e-mailed me expressing their appreciation for "I'll Fly Away"! It makes this old left-handed Norwegian feel qutie humble.
Thanks,
Erv
Erv, In regards to your question about playing your version "I'll Fly Away", I did fairly well up to bar 9 and then I went out on my own and did the best I could through the end of the chorus. I'm still working on it. I was backing up a new singer at church and things were happening fast. The spirit was good and we were making a joyful noise.
At our church, we say "to God be the glory" for great things happening. Thanks for inspiring a novice to keep trying. Ed
Ed,
There are some fill-in licks in the song.
These can be confusing. Just play the grips that correspond to the words of the song and you won't go wrong. I think maybe that could be your problem with measure 9.

Sounds Good to me Erv
i'always enjoy your tabs and the best part is makin'
that Joyfull Noise !
7 tunes so far. by 12 i'll almost have a repertoire
keep up the good work Brother
Crowbear,
I still have a long way to go. I played for about 2 hours at a nursing home last Thursday afternoon and didn't get through 1/2 of my gospel tabs.
