Everybody finds cool licks. Why not share some of them?
I heard Buddy play this, (or close to it,) over "In the land of cotton" on "Dixie":

A A7

Ernie,

Forgive my apparent ignorance but, what is the change designated by the "f" on string 6?

Thanks in advance for your response

Keep on pickin'!
Glenn

From Buddy's info page http://www.buddyemmons.com/info.htm the "f" lever lowers his 6th string G#-F#.

I use the same letter designations as Buddy does. All of the charts on Tab from Buddy use the same ones.

Sorry for any confusion.

(Thanks, Jim!)

Thanks Jim and Ernie!

I don't have that change on my axe. Hence, my ignorance. I'm gonna have me some fun figurin' out an alternative to gettin' the sound of that lick right on my E9/B6 tuning.

Keep on pickin'!
Glenn
