Important Announcement Re: Real Audio Pages

Post by Graham »

I have been in conversation with Ricky Davis today and we are going to pool our talents on this site. Ricky has agreed to do the tab for the clips that I have done up. As he is very busy himself, this will not be an overnight job. I would ask that you respect his privacy and his schedule and not bother him about doing up specific clips. If you want something tabbed out, post here for me or send me an email and I will get in touch with him. Also, the name of the page will be
changing to "Rebel™ and Ricky's Real Audio Steel Clips and Tab". I don't mean to sound b@#chy, but this is a very big undertaking on his part and subject to his timetable and schedule. Hope you all enjoy the site.
Thanks

Great. The RealAudio pieces I checked out were mostly slow easy stuff. How about concentrating on tabbing and putting up more challenging solos that would be more likely to build up our ability?

Hey asdasd; what do you have in mind, for some more challenging stuff. I will personally tab anything for "you" if you send me specific songs and I will even count beats per measure for you. But "time is money"; and "if you got the money, I got the time".
Hey Jon; I fell out of my chair when I read your post Image Yeah their all done; except for a couple of hundred of them!! Image Image Image Image

Why don't you guys surf to the SwedishSteel site, while waiting for this big project.
I've got some advanced tab up right now and will upload new things every day. I've got a huge archive of diagramed steelstuff and you can just send me a mail if you would like to see some special things uploaded. Sorry no soundfiles for the transcribed "from records" stuff for various reasons.

Sincerely

This is music to my ears! (nyuk, nyuk)
Seriously, what a great idea. I can't wait! That web site is one of the best things I've found on the web since I found the forum. Combined with Ricky's seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of steel licks, it'll be even better!
[This message was edited by P Gleespen, who misspelled "knowledge", on 10-19-99]

[This message was edited by P Gleespen on 10-19-99]

Ricky has already started. Clips on 1965 page now have tab. Also 1 on the Unknown page submitted by Jon Light.

Sure, but i say dont ever forget the "newbies" or beginners!!!
I think pages like these should have something for players of all skills.
