Mechanic in the NYC area

Post by David Friedlander »

Hey Steelers. I've been off the forum for a dog's age.....
My ShowPro needs maintenance......I can send her back to Jeff, who will gladly fix it...but I'm hoping to find someone locally.
The issue is that a few of my knee levers are sticking.
My RKL raises strings 1 and 2, and lowers string 6 a whole step. Kinda complicated to get just right,
My LKV is just "sticky"
Maybe it;'s because the guitar is 10 years old...needs maintenance?

John Widgren is great but he is currently in New Mexico where he spends half the year and won't be back to May.
