Ted thanks for streaming live. I caught a good bit of the show but on Sarah's set the sound would distort or rumble on the low notes. Maybe a overload on the mic input.

It's on now and listened to some of it last night. Kudos to them for streaming it for the rest of us that are not there. steelradio.org programming is doing us a tremendous service bringing us steel guitar music in all formats.
Ted said they were just feeling things out for future and I think their mics are just picking up sound from out in the house judging from all the background noise. My observation is that the bass guitar is overpowering everything else.
Part of the sound from Sarah's spot was her own dynamics and/or the house mix.
I'm going to listen for a bit now and see how it goes. Randy Boyd is on now. I think there is a break for a bit after that.
I'm listening on Roku throught the Audacy channel.

Jerry, I connected to the Mullen crew in Facebook and caught Sarah's stage show plus a few others and some of the Mullen room jams. The sound was excellent with whatever method they used. I agree on the steel radio using room microphones because of the people talking mixed in. At any rate it was great to have some content from the show. I wanted to go this year and things didn't work out for me health wise. Maybe next year.
Our friend Rhonda Lindsey was there and she posted several video's of the jam room too. Sarah and Austin Stewart do some incredible picking. Mullen made a tribute SD10 in memory of the late Mike Manty that was auctioned off via silent auction. It was beautiful.

Follow up -Re: Live stream now @ TSGA Jamboree 3/7/2025
Hey everyone!
Thanks to Larry Dering & Jerry Overstreet for their feedback on our live remote broadcast from the TSGA Jamboree in March on SteelRadio.
It was a totally experimental effort, and we learned a lot! It's taken me a while to post a follow-up, as the remainder of March was so busy.
1- We were able to "go live, remote," and return control to the home studio, resuming the normally scheduled programming.
2- We will most likely need hard wire internet access for live broadcasts. We were on wi-fi signal only. We will experiment with types of internet access for remotes, as access to hard wire is often difficult or not an option.
3- Input source. We had connectivity issues for our quality mics, so we had to rely on laptop mic.
4- We had one couple report they tuned into the remote before they got to TSGA the next day, and that along with the music, they heard some "interesting" coversations.
We learned other things as well. On our inital attempt on Thursday night, I was also co-emcceeing, so I was covering a few bases.
So, we'll work on getting these issues addressed. We plan to do live remote broadcasts from Steel Guitar focused events in 2025 and going forward as much as we can, once we can deliver a quality broadcast.
In the meantime, please keep tuned to SteelRadio, including to our hosted shows, on which our hosts are bringing great and varied content.
What a great weekend of steel guitar and camaraderie it was!
Ted
