Kudos to Dave Beaty and Telonics

I just want to give props to Dave Beaty and Telonics.

I purchased a Telonics volume pedal in 2009. Recently, it developed a mechanical issue...nothing serious, but I decided to email Dave, described the situation, and ask his advice. He told me to send him the pedal and he would take care of it. I shipped him the pedal, and he repaired it and shipped it back in a week...my pedal is like new again. That, my friends, is PRODUCT SUPPORT!

Telonics pedals are expensive, but man are they worth it. I had to rely on the other volume pedals I own for a week and boy did I miss the Telonics (you don't miss your water...)!

As a pedal steel player, what are the top 10 things I like about the Telonics FP-100? (1) user-selectable tapers (Emmons for me), (2) silky smoooth pedal action, (3) QUIET, (4) unity gain, (5) stays in the pedal position where you leave it (and on the floor where you put it), (6) adjustable pedal friction, (7) adjustable minimum, (8) two outputs, (9) silent tuner out, and (10) bulletproof construction.

Everything on this volume pedal is beautifully engineered...it's a work of art. Telonics = the BEST quality and the BEST product support.

I just want to share my extraordinary user support experience...which is such a rarity these days.
