Thinking of b0b, two years gone...
Well, the Steel Guitar Forum is still around, thanks to a handful of people working hard to keep it updated.
I wish he could have seen how it has changed.

Me too. I think of and miss him every time I come here.
I hope he knew just how important his work was bringing all these people together to share steel guitar knowledge. RIP Boss.

I have been thinking this, too, of course.
Uncle Rick (his brother) died last week, and we just had his funeral, two years after my dad's.
My dad both wanted and didn't want to upgrade the forum. He didn't want to deal with a bunch of grumpy old men! (This might be my wording.) But most of the feedback has been really positive, which is nice. We've also received some generous donations that were just for "forum upgrade," which we appreciate very much.
I don't really keep statistics, but it seems like more people are joining lately. Overall, this forum is looking good, IMO.
Thank you for all your help! Moral, technical, financial, and thanks for just being a part of this wonderful community!

Dear Shoshanah -
I think you're doing a great job keeping the Forum going 2 years on & I think your dad would be very proud of you.
And, yes, I miss his wit & wisdom, and his steady stewardship of the Forum, too.
Many thanks, many regards. Frank

I've enjoyed reading everyone's comments - we should all be grateful for b0b's vision -- to create a community where steel guitar players/aficionados could meet. He is greatly missed but thanks to Shoshanah and others, the Forum goes on exactly as he intended it to. Thanks to everyone who keeps it up and running!!
