PF solo - Help me make it through the night Martina Mcbride

Post by Jamie Lennon »

Hey guys had a few requests for this tab.

May not be note for note what Paul Franklin did but it's close enough to get you through.

Here is a video of me playing it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxnH8Tx8pJY

Here is a video lesson of it

http://youtu.be/f-EcoDlHbbY

Tab below !!

There was one slight mistake on the video at point 5.28, i say slide up with 4 and 8 it's actually 5 and 8 !

enjoy, and anymore requests let me know and I will video/tab some !

Love this brother!!
Had to record this song for a production company I work for and this saved me SOOOO much time!
I would have NEVER figured out some of that counter melody harmonization stuff Paul does,...GENIUS!
I am a professional keyboardist/piano/B3 player learning to play pedal steel because I HATED doing substandard steel tracks with my keyboards.
I have logged 5 months of practice and am getting the hang of it pretty well.
I have a tab request for another song I need to track, and was wondering if you could break it down for me??

The song is "Flower Shops" by Ernest.
That steel playing from that youngster is so silky smooth on that song!
I think I have it figured out, but after learning some of the techniques you demonstrate here, I am thinking there might be a better way ;)
Any chance you could post a tutorial for that one?
Keep on keepin on,..you sound great!..very inspiring.
