Advanced C6 Chords w/slants & pulls
I love scavenging for chords in different tunings. Here are some findings…

Thanks for that wonderful instruction. Can you tell us your string guages. I'm using SIT strings which are .015 .018 .022 .024 .030 .036.

Lots of candy here! Thanks for sharing Steve!
Some of those whole step bends look difficult to pull off on the fly.

It’s getting to be time to reach out to Oscar Goldman for some touch up work.

Those strings have been on there so long I don’t remember. Definitely something in the neighborhood of your gauges.David Matzenik wrote: 2 Mar 2025 2:52 pm Thanks for that wonderful instruction. Can you tell us your string guages. I'm using SIT strings which are .015 .018 .022 .024 .030 .036.

Re: Advanced C6 Chords w/slants & pulls
It’s all about finding the right resistance. I recently detuned my Supro from open E to open C (it has really heavy strings). It made it very difficult to do string pulls…the high strings felt like wet noodles. I went several gauges higher on the unwound strings, to the point where I had to work a little harder…I could easily physically feel my half and whole steps again.Michael Kiese wrote: 4 Mar 2025 9:26 am Lots of candy here!
