Well folks here we are again for the 2nd Year.
Lori and I have had a lot of feedback from our last meet and greet. A lot of it being very positive. So we have decided to it all over again this year with the help of a few friends.
One of Canada's top steel players. Mr. John Lacey will again be doing a expanded beginners version seminar. We are also pleased to be adding Gospel player Mr. Dwayne Neufeld into the mix doing a seminar on melodies and how to manipulate them. As well there will be burgers, hotdogs, soft drinks and water etc. again. This is a chance for pedal steel players to get an introduction into the world of our beloved instrument in a learning environment. While having a fun day of discussion, food and camaraderie.
The Date set this year will be August 16/2025 from 9am to 6pm here at our place in Bassano Alberta. To save a spot please email me at outwestcountry9@gmail.com
Also this year if some folks need a place to throw a camper or tent , we will have spots available in the west field for dry camping. There is also a campground in town as well a few Hotels, and Motels.
There is no charge for the days activities. These are sponsored by Outwest music again this year. However please note that space is limited and this is learning environment not a concert setting venue.
So bring your guitars, picks and bars, seat and we will get you set up and plugged in...Amps are not required.
