Slim Whitman's steel player
Saw a video of Slim doing "I'll Remember You" on a tv show hosted by Andy Kauffman and the steel player added so much to the song and was up front in the mix. Does anyone know who that steel player is?

Hey Ron, the video I saw was most likely from the 80's.
The fact that Andy Kaufman was the person that introduced Slim, leads me to believe it was the 80's. No shots of the steel players face. I saw another video today of Slim and his son and there was a shot of the steel player. Heavy set man with short curly hair. The player on I'll Remember You was a much better player.

I hope it's not one of those ugly Tesla Cybertrucks.Jim Arnold wrote:Hey Richard, you win the prize. That's the player I saw on the video of Slim and his kid. Could be the same player from the I Remember You video.
Thanks for playing, your parting gift is in the mail.
