Weldon Myrick & Hal Rugg Speed picking

Post by Houston West »

Good afternoon everyone, I found this video of a 45 https://youtu.be/S2sqnTDJoWE used from an antiquated PSG course. I was wondering if anyone had access to the literature that was a part of it. I think it would help me greatly as I try to become more coordinated speed picking. Thank you.

There is a thread on the forum that includes the tab I believe! A search should find it.

Ah yes, the amazing little one pedal, two finger, three string song! I committed it to memory almost 50 years ago, and still play it as a warm-up exercise. Good stuff!

I think Bruce Bouton said he was studying that lesson when he did the steel guitar part on Highway 40 Blues.
