clutch parts for 50s Fender Stringmaster T8

Post by David Mansfield »

Hi-

I just bought a beautiful 50s T8. Two of the telescoping legs are missing the clear vinyl piece that locks the leg extensions in place when you tighten the clutch. Maybe it's just a Home Depot item :)

Anyone have an idea where I could find a couple of these parts?

Best,
David

Search clutch kits from companies that make microphone stands like Atlas, K-M etc.

I took a look, and the parts don't look like the clear split plastic compression ring from the one good leg. I've emailed a couple of companies that sell replacement legs (Sill, Mullen), hoping they may have something compatible.

If anybody can point me to a mic stand with the same style compression ring, that would be great.

Thx-
