Who's Playing Steel On Ringo's

Post by Jim Fogle »

A country album by Ringo Starr called Look Up will be released January, 2025. The album is produced by T Bone Burnett. One song has been released and it is called "Time On My Hands" https://youtu.be/Cj-HcFbT71o?feature=shared

Does anyone know who is the steel player on this song?

Here is a link to an article that tells a little bit about how the album came about: https://www.udiscovermusic.com/news/rin ... try-album/

According to "Rolling Stone", it is Paul Franklin.

Ha! That's a far cry from "Act Naturally." Very nice. Thanks for calling attention to it

Sounds like a modern day nod to Pete Drake. Paul executes flawless as usual. Ringo still loves Pedal Steel!
Best lyric in a country song: "...One more, Moon..."
