Me too Larry. We probably were there at the same time at many of those ISGC shows. That was before we had met here on the forum though. I guess we can always reminisce about all the special times had there.

Hey Larry, Jack and Jerry, ....I know how you all feel. I've referred to people who are missing Scotty's ISGC, as the "Lost Souls of St. Louis." I attended the ISGC almost thirty (30) years.

Alas, on SteelRadio this coming Labor Day weekend, (I'm the GM), we'll feature recorded live sets from many artists from the ISGC. Please see my post on Steel On The Web I put up yesterday, ..here is the link:

I hope you all will be able to tune for some great sets which always bring great memories. I haven't scheduled out the set times yet, but check the post for more info.

Sincerely,

Ted Smouse

Yeah Larry, I was just thumbing through some of the old ISGC progams, lineups etc. and I counted more gone than still with us. I'm so blessed to have gotten to see and hear these great shows and our fabulous hero players.

I most definitely miss the ISGC. I attended for over 28 years and it's less than an hour from home. I still attend a few other shows within modest driving range. I knew it wouldn't last forever but it will always be the greatest show on earth.
