Ray LaMontagne - Long Way Home

Post by John Larson »

Who's the steel player? The playing on tracks like "I Wouldn't Change A Thing" is beautiful. I know he's worked with Eric Heywood, Greg Leisz, and Russ Paul in the past, so who is it?

Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright. Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation. For the word of the Lord is true, and all His works are in faithfulness. The Lord loveth mercy and judgement; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
- Psalm 33:1-5

Just a guess mind you but of the 3, it sounds like Eric to me.

Nice tune. Apparently that’s Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket. He does a solid job. 👌🏼🎵
