3Bender Fundamentals | Demo and Instructional Videos
We have been working on a series of short demos and instructional videos for the 3Bender. Most of them are less than 1 minute. By the end of this week, we will have uploaded 8. As it relates to the 3Bender, we are covering chord scales, the Nashville Number System, the Circle of Fourths, etc.
We have lots more subjects to cover. We hope you might subscribe to the YouTube channel, Follow us on Instagram and Threads.

Hi Brooks. I apologize that I missed this post and thank you for the question. The initial lessons will typically be centered on triads. The easiest way to explain the 3Bender is that the Big E chord shape and the small F chord shape bend from the I to IV. (It is similar to the A and B pedals on a pedal steel).Brooks Montgomery wrote:Pretty darn cool mini lessons. i subscribed.
So what are & how many chord shapes go from the I to the IV with the bender?
New support documents that add details to the video lessons are in the works. Some of that info will be posted here in the thread. Constructive criticism is welcome. Someone on another site recommended that we refer to the alternating chords in the scale as a “Staircase of Fourths” and that resonated with me.

New Chord Construction Chart: To understand complex subjects, I usually attempt to break them into smaller pieces. So, to better help understand Chord Construction, I made this chart. Would anyone else here be interested in having a digital copy that you could print as 13” x 19”?
Your local print shop should be able to print a 13” x 19” version for less than cup of Starbuck’s. You can find the digital file at www.3Bender.com/shop
