I listened to this today. Highly recommended! You gotta love Steve - great guy, great player, fine author and very articulate.
It was about nine years ago that Emmylou & Rodney Crowell were on tour and we attended the show at The Luther Burbank Center here in Santa Rosa. The opener was Richard Thompson who joined Emmy and Rodney for a few songs.
Steve was on pedal steel and dobro, it was the first time I had seen him play live since the Hot Band days in the 1980s.
After the concert we were able to hang for a bit with Steve and his lovely wife Tracy. They were very cordial and we had a nice visit. Wonderful folks!

| I finally had the chance to listen to it and enjoyed it very much. Steve is one of my favorite steel players and I loved to hear more about his background. Great to hear him speak about the Buddy Emmons tribute cd and the book, which i both love very much ,Thanks. |
