The Dream (solo c6th)

This is a song for the customers at the cafe I play at - something repetitive, simple for people who weren't really listening or who were doing something else. Very Saturday morning.

Recorded using an Excel Superb S-10 5x5 psg last winter. The guitar was delivered during the beginning of the pandemic and the pickup was wound to have more bass. Fender 1950's Tremolux amp using an external 1960's Ampeg speaker (one 12"). Only the arrangement was improvised. Recording isn't my thing so apologies in advance.

I felt like the playing could have been better on these recording sessions as I haven't recorded for 8 years and since I was just winging it, the live mike kind of intimidated me and harshed my mellow. I plan on getting back to recording in November and for a variety of reasons, I expect those to be much better and much less off the cuff.

Thanks for listening. There's some overlap between these tunes as I kept coming back to certain ideas.

Personally, I'd crank the reverb WAY down. But keep going.
