I got my first Mullen steel from Ronnies Guitar Shop in Hot Springs, Ark. After sitting behind it and playing on it I was sold and didn't want nothing else but a Mullen. I played on that for 10 years and traded it for a double neck. I played that one for 10 years. During that time I special ordered a new Royal custom built. It took almost a year to get that one but I picked that one up October 19th, 2002 one week after my bass player passed away. I still have it and am still playing it. Yes it looks as good as it did the day I picked it up at Ronnies. Since retirement in 2020 I have bought a G2 and taught a couple students. I sold the G2 to a friend in California but still have and play my Royal. When it's my time to go I hope I'm setting behind my steel playing somewhere. I sure love my music and playing my Mullen just puts icing on the cake.
