D10 Mullen G2 HWP 9 X 9

Post by Mike Wilson »

Image D10 Mullen HWP G2 9X9. This was Herby Wallaces guitar. The guitar was originally a 8X4. This guitar is in excellent condition. I even made felt lever covers to protect the levers from scratches. It's time for me to start lightening the load, so this is the guitar that I have decided to part with, and believe me it wasn't an easy decision as Herby was a friend. He signed the guitar also. So, if you are one that likes history and guitars that were owned by Hall of Fame steel guitar players, this is your chance to own a piece of history. I want $4800 plus shipping, but open to offers. I'll put pics up when I figure out how to do it again. it keeps telling me datatype not accepted. pm for phone number if you want to discuss this guitar or pm with yours and I'll be glad to email or text pics.

Mike, do you have a copedent you can share. I know Herbie had a first string G on the C6th. Is that how this is set up? Thanks. My understanding from researching the forum is that the HWP G2 is a G2 with a tone knob and polished levers. Is that your understanding?

Hi Mike. What's the serial number? Do you know who upgraded the guitar to 9 knees?
