There was a link to a custom-made 12-string. I didn't see any problem with it. We are OK with instrument manufacturers advertising their instruments here, and it was in the correct section - For Sale: Other Instruments.

Use of the Classified Ads section to drive traffic to ads on other sites (e.g. EBay, Reverb, Craigslist, etc.) is subject to a 2.5% finders fee if the auctioned item is bought by a Forum member.
"etc." would include a manufacturer's website. But beyond that, I think it's entirely reasonable for manufacturers to advertise here.
