I need an Emmons push pull pickup, where to look?

Steel guitar amplifiers, effects, etc.

I need an Emmons push pull pickup, where to look?

Post by Nick Krol »

I just purchased a 1974 Emmons D10 and someone swapped out the original E9 pickup. I'm looking to get the guitar back to stock but I'm not sure where I would find an original Emmons pickup for sale. Anyone have any leads?

Thanks

You might contact Emmons in Tenn. If they have none, maybe they could refer you elsewhere.

Other possibilities are Lynn Stanford, Billy Knowles, Mike Cass, Tommy Cass, or Mike Skaggs. You should be able to find them all here on the Forum. Do a search.

Put an ad in the Wanted to Buy section. This forum is probably your best bet. Maybe check with the new Emmons company to see if their pickups will fit.
