Pull Release project

Post by Jeff Phunmongkol »

Hi fellow forumites -

I just picked up a pull release project this weekend and was looking to see if anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area has had any experience restoring/rebuilding any before.

It’s a D10 10x6. ABC pedals work but was seeing to at least get the E raise and lowers working too.

Thanks!

Tom Bradshaw is just down the road from you in Walnut Creek, if you don't know him you can find him here on the forum.

Looks like an early '60s ZB perhaps? ZB fret boards anyway. You'll need to post some detail pics of the underside if you're looking for any advice here. Pull-release mechanisms are generally fairly simple to work on, but not entirely intuitive if you're not familiar with how they operate

I do believe that is a Miller guitar and, yes, they were pull/release.
