Wayne Hobbs!!!

My friend and Atlanta bass player Wayne Smith had told me about Wayne from them being neighbors at a time when they both were full time players in Gatlinburg, TN.

Well yesterday Wayne was on our Georgia SGA show and he was even more than Wayne had described. Great playing on both necks with lots of originality and a unique approach. And on top of that I learned he’s one of those guys that treats you like a life long friend from the moment after introduction.

Wayne said he’s working on a CD. I’m anxiously waiting for it and recommend you do the same!

Wayne Hobbs was also a great delight at the Mt Vernon, IL Steel Guitar show held earlier this spring.
Wayne's variety of material, coupled with his great touch, tone, and execution were some real highlights of that weekend.
