What kind of tuners on Old BMI?

Instruments, mechanical issues, copedents, techniques, etc.

What kind of tuners on Old BMI?

Post by Ian Sutton »

Does anyone know what kind of tuners these are? They're on an old 70s BMI S10 I use for fly dates.

I'd also love to know what my options for replacement might be. The post size is 7/64" (5.5mm)

Thanks for the help!

I went through this with my BMI a few years back. I ended up calling Sperzel and they set me up. The issue I had with the 'off the shelf' tuners was 5 and 6 were too long and met in the middle.

Here is the email I got from Sperzel, and the (then) correct phone number to call.

Good luck! It was a Godsend for mine. Just seemed to play better...
