Clark S-10

Post by Marty Neer »

This Clark guitar was built by Jim Clark and the original owner Vernon Sandusky who was Roy Clarks touring band guitarist for over 20 years.
It was originally a dark blue and natural color but has faded thru the years. I did a little work on the guitar this spring when it had a Jimmy Day set up on the guitar.
This guitar probably doesn't have 50 hrs of playing time on it and would be considered a closet queen for sure.
Its incredibly clean and has a great sixties Sho-Bud tone.
As near as I can tell in talking with friends of Jim Clark this guitar dates to somewhere around 1968-70.
Good luck on the sale as this will make a good little guitar
to learn on or a keeper if you are a collector.
