Wayne Gailey Remembered-45 years ago today

Wayne Owen Gailey passed away 45 years ago today. He was doing what he did best and enjoyed most- performing for fans on his steel guitar. Wayne was only 39 years young when he left this earth while in Reno, NV. He has been performing at that great Country Music venue in the sky ever since. Wayne Gailey touched many lives in such a positive manner that he will forever be remembered by them. We love and miss you every day, Dad! A great player with a unique style. Easy to talk to. I loved his version of "Bucksnort", the Buck Trent instrumental.

Thanks Joe and Clyde. I’ll have to look for a recording of “Bucksnort”! Maybe someone has one of Wayne’s version.

I don't believe he ever recorded it. He played on the Kenny Vernon show.
