Well a few days ago I was very fortunate enough to have a a nice long conversation with W C Edger. Let me tell you i was total taken a back. This guy was a real treat to talk to. He's very knowledgeable on music, Steel guitar etc. We talked about a bunch of stuff including A unique perspective on the old MSA guitars  . Then he sent me his latest release. "PBR ASAP" Let me tell you we don't get this kind of country music up here anymore as Allan and George said it so famously "murder on music row" Now it's just all that country rapp stuff. (please don't flame me it's just my opinion). Anyways if you get a chance listen to this latest release I think it's fantastic and will defiantly add it to my collection. Thanks W C
thanks
Wayne

yes INDEED....me and WC go waaaaaaaay back; he even took my place/filled in with Dale Watson back in the day and even with my current singer Weldon Henson and TORE IT UP on Sho~Bud; every time. Yes he writes and sings just as good as them and anyone really. Wayne was so right; saying he has a perspective on everything really...how about using the best/still alive and well and playing his a$$ off; just like over 50 years of playing; THE GREAT DOUG JERNIGAN on pedal steel on that "PBR ASAP" link Greg just put up....KILLER STUFF.

Good stuff indeed. I had the honor to work a gig with W.C. last year. No rehearsal, we read the same country music user's manual and it was much fun. Safe travels W.C.

Wow I'm speechless...
I thank you all for the kind words from the bottom of my heart.
I knew Doug would kill it on the "I Need A PBR ASAP" steel parts and my producer and I thought Brent Mason would add what it needed on the guitar and we were right!
For anyone that listens to Spotify, here is the link if you'd like to follow a guy that breathes this stuff 24/7
Thanks,

Well since you didn't need me or call me to produce, then I knew you had it!!! It's really a great song, well manufactured and one of the greatest steel players on the planet playing on it, whether he played flashy or not; it was Doug freaking Jernigan,,, great stuff.

Let's not forget another W.C. Edgar credit: he designed and built what was to become SteelSeat.com pack-a-seats, eventually taken over by Joe Naylor in Arizona. Great seats then, still great to this day!

I forget the name of the gentleman who owned the company between W.C. and Joe, he passed away unfortunately, anyone know the full story and history?

WC you had a video of you playing Cold Cold Heart some time ago. I remember it was a great sounding version, but I can’t find it anywhere anymore. Could you post it again?
