I thought seriously about getting a TMTR and swapping the chassis into my Custom 15, but decided against it as the Tone-Master's speaker connection is hardwired and digging into an amp chassis is above my pay grade. Maybe some of the amp gurus hereabouts could weigh in on how do-able swapping a 15 for the 2-12's is.I do know the '70s Vibrosonic Reverb cab was exactly the same size as a Twin-Reverb, so a 15 would fit, albeit pretty tightly. ;-)

I'm a little surprised the company hasn't produced a 15" TM Twin.

15”

I tried it.

My ears were more familiar with the sound of the JBL15” from my tubed twin , but not a real improvement.

Just a bit different, not really a noticeable improvement.

I returned it to the stock configuration. The difference was slight. Hope that helps.

I did some testing with external cabinets and speakers including my old tube Twin Reverbs and a couple others. Like Steve said the improvement was minor so I decided not to swap.
