Greg Leisz Avenged Sevenfold Video

Browsing around on YouTube and I came across this video that has a clip of Greg Leisz playing on the track “Dear God” from Avenged Sevenfold’s 2007 album. I’m sure it’s been mentioned or discussed here before but I just thought it was cool and I’d kind of forgot about this tune. I got a kick out of how fascinated the guys in the band were with the complexity of the pedal steel. Greg definitely played his tail off on this deal.

Interesting to read that their 2007 record is now considered by lots to be one of their best. That one didn't capture me in the moment the way City of Evil did, but maybe its worth revisiting. Greg Leisz's playing on "Dear God" is really great.
