Agreed. The shop is not far from me, but I wouldn't waste the time since the posted prices are not even a good point to start negotiating in my opinion.

Yeah, today’s asking prices are hard to accept, especially if you were around back in the day when any one of those lap steels could be had for $50. (used, not new).
