No longer available Cant get chips anymore from Texas Instruments. I think they are going obsolete

Shutting my website down by end of this month.

OPA2134PA are available at a premium price through Mouser and others. They still have stock for now

Hi Bill,

Mod kits are not available from Peavey, either, anymore. However, you can get the instructions and parts list from them, and then get the parts themselves from Mouser electronics. You HAVE to get the instructions from them, because they have the parts placement on paper. The instructions say "Change C1 from/to..." but the component numbers are not labeled on the pc board.

And: Look up Bob Metzger, he still has the NV 400 reverb mod kits available!

Luck on your search.......Pat.

Note: Use the chips Ken mentions, they are better than the ic chips recommended by Peavey (TL072).

The 2134 Burr Brown chips are still sold by Jameson, Mouser and Digi Key. You can also find them on Ebay and Amazon.
Regards,

John

Careful, though,

It's been said (in a past post about NV 400 mods) that some who sell those chips on ebay sell fakes...

100% correct. Stick with Burr-Brown/Texas Instruments (they bought Burr-Brown).
